I've paid my dues in other parts of the country - New York, Dallas, Austin, El Paso, Columbus, Ga, Lawton, Okla., and even Panama in Central America. But it's right here in Santa Fe where I want to be. I first visited in December, 1971 and immediately knew this place would be my last stop.
In 1989 I moved lock, stock and barrel and have lived here ever since. Over the last 16 years, I've discovered a lifestyle enjoyed by very few. Not many places in the world can you enjoy classic opera, symphony, jazz and gourmet dining within two hours of some of the finest trout waters in the world - not to mention being in the center of the Jemez and Sangre de Cristos mountain ranges!
Like an older lady told me once, "my children visit me much more often here than when I lived in Lubbock".
